Option is the only company to offer health insurance for diabetics. Option offers diabetics a variety of insurances that provide cover for complications from diabetes and are approved by the Israel Diabetes Association, which has examined the policies and found them to be suitable for diabetics. Consequently, only Option's insurance policies for diabetics are certified by the Israel Diabetes Association.

About 75% of the Israelis pay every year about 3billion NIS to the four sickness founds for insurance that will help them at the difficult times, believing that these complementary insurances will help them at a time of trouble. A research done by the newspaper Israel today shows that at the great need, many get rejected by their sickness funds. Hundreds complain to the ministry of health, but the real number of complaints is estimated to be 2,000. The sickness funds do reject claims especial regarding operations abroad and  medical devises.
